BSc (Hons) Chemical Engineering, University of Cape Town (2009), MSc Chemical Engineering, University of Cape Town (2013)

Background

Mussa attained his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 2009. He then joined the postgraduate program in the Centre for Minerals Research, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Cape Town. After completion of his MSc program, Mussa joined the Centre for Minerals Research as a Senior Scientific Officer in 2014. Mussa has been involved in a number of industrial and pilot comminution and flotation circuit surveys on sites operated by Lonmin, Anglo Platinum, Royal Bafokeng Platinum and Vedanta’s Black Mountain Mine. He has also been involved in comminution research related projects for De Beers Marine and Magotteaux
